As this Federation of American Scientists for Experimental Biology (FASEB) prepares to celebrate its 100th Anniversary, create an identity that positions it for future growth.
Solution
FASEB was created in 1912 as a forum in which to hold educational meetings, develop publications, and disseminate biological research results. Ever evolving, the group is now made up of 23 individual scientific societies and over 100,000 researchers across the globe. After a thorough Research & Discovery phase, our brief placed the emphasis on this group as powerful organization leveraging the strength of the collective to advance biology through lobbying, the sharing of ideas, networking and services.
The modern look and feel of the mark we created positioned FASEB for the next 100 years, and the 3D globe-inside-a-globe design signified the individual societies being a part of a much larger, more powerful collective. We developed a number of taglines and headlines to be used when marketing to various internal and external target audiences. TSG further developed the brand by creating a visual identity system and brand style guide for their internal marketing team.
