Challenge
Develop an interactive microsite celebrating 100 years of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology’s achievements.
Solution
Having already rebranded the organization in tandem with its 100th Anniversary, TSG was hired by FASEB to develop an interactive microsite to showcase their 100-year history. Developed using elements of their existing design and branding, the microsite highlights membership milestones, organizational accomplishments such as publications produced and conferences held as well as notable figures in FASEB history like past Presidents and Nobel Prize winners. The cornerstone of the site is a highly interactive timeline that allows visitors to scroll through FASEB history in detail at their own pace, calling out events for further information. The site was built using the ExpressionEngine CMS and made use of web technologies like Javascript, jQuery and CSS.
To complement the microsite, TSG also designed collateral for the Centennial celebration, including a printed version of the timeline and banners highlighting FASEB leadership and notable achievements of their organization and its members.
