Challenge
New Futures is a Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization that provides career education, scholarship support, and career mentoring to D.C. area youth. Sutter Group was tasked with creating an interactive and easy-to-use web experience to help both students and job seekers explore potential career paths, regardless of age and education level.
Solution
Alongside the amazing team at New Futures and their partner for the project, Global Skills X-Change (GSX), Sutter Group developed a highly-engaging self-assessment interface which serves up personalized vocational guidance. Based on their individual results, the user is then connected directly to specific GSX-defined career clusters. The result is a unique and customized online assessment that is intuitive and provides highly accurate results.
Insights.
If you listen to the client’s goals and take the time to understand what they need to accomplish, your brainstorming sessions ultimately yield a better end product. After our kickoff meeting, it became immediately apparent that the client’s organization was truly devoted to one particular thing. We took this passion and married it with modern best practices for mobile. The result is the most helpful portal we could offer to the target audience, that leverages the unique insight only our client could provide.
